About This Opportunity

The Sarah Gaulin Memorial Scholarship is designed to support Canadian post-secondary students who are persevering through mental health challenges. The scholarship recognizes students with clinically diagnosed mental health conditions as defined in the DSM who have been actively managing their condition for at least two years while pursuing their academic goals. Applicants must be enrolled full-time at an accredited Canadian college or university and be actively involved in a treatment plan with healthcare professionals or mental health support services. The program specifically supports students facing significant mental health obstacles and demonstrates the foundation's commitment to breaking down barriers to education for those living with mental health conditions. Recipients are selected based on their demonstrated perseverance through mental health struggles, strong commitment to their academic career, and potential to be outstanding community participants.
