Saskatchewan Innovation & Excellence Graduate Scholarship

The Saskatchewan Innovation & Excellence Graduate Scholarship is a one-time competition scholarship for the Winter 2026 semester funded by the Government of Saskatchewan. This scholarship supports full-time PhD and Master's thesis students at the University of Regina who are pursuing research in eligible fields including science, engineering, health studies, justice studies, Aboriginal languages and culture, media, art and performance, education, and public policy. The scholarship has a variable value based on available budget, and recipients must maintain an 80% average and be in good academic standing. Students holding major national awards (valued at $17,500 or over) or who have previously received more than $15,000 from the Saskatchewan Innovation program are not eligible. Recipients must be registered full-time and cannot be on work terms, internships, or practicums where they receive monetary compensation during the funding period.
