About this opportunity
Established in 2023/24 by the Government of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Innovation & Opportunity Living Cost Bursary was created to assist post-secondary Ukrainian students who are in Canada under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) program and plan to pursue studies at a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution. The bursary provides financial assistance to eligible students who meet specific residency and documentation requirements. Students must have graduated from a Saskatchewan secondary school, previously attended a post-secondary institution in Saskatchewan, resided in Saskatchewan for one year prior to starting their post-secondary program, or if they landed in a different province or territory, have resided in Saskatchewan for one year. Students must provide required documentation and valid study or work permit. The bursary may be awarded for up to two years, providing $1,750 in support to help cover living costs while pursuing post-secondary education.
