About this opportunity
The Saskatchewan Pulse Growers Undergraduate Scholarships provide financial support to students pursuing post-secondary education in fields related to the pulse industry and agriculture. The scholarship is designed for students or children of registered Saskatchewan pulse growers who are enrolled in Saskatchewan-based post-secondary programs associated with agriculture, natural sciences, engineering, nutrition, or other pulse industry-related fields.
Applicants must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career related to agriculture and the pulse industry, along with a history of demonstrated leadership and contributions to school and community life. The program awards five scholarships of $5,000 each to eligible students entering their first year of post-secondary education.
The scholarship requires students to maintain a minimum 70% average on five high school subjects and be accepted as full-time students in eligible programs at Saskatchewan institutions. Recipients are selected based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, and their commitment to the agricultural and pulse industry sectors.
