Scandinavian Studies Award

The Scandinavian Studies Award is offered to undergraduate students at the University of Alberta enrolled in the Faculty of Arts. This award recognizes students who have demonstrated satisfactory academic standing while pursuing their undergraduate degree. Selection for the award is based on academic performance in specific Scandinavian language courses, specifically NORW 212 (Norwegian) or SWED 212 (Swedish). Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application and do not need to submit a separate application. The award supports students who have shown commitment to the study of Scandinavian languages and cultures within their Arts degree program.
