About this opportunity
The Scape Accommodation Scholarship has been established to support UTS students experiencing financial and/or other educational disadvantages to gain access to subsidised and affordable housing for 12 months following the Scholarship being awarded. This scholarship provides students with reduced weekly accommodation rates at Scape housing facilities, with options for shared rooms in 8-bedroom or 4-bedroom apartments. Preference is given to applicants who can demonstrate financial hardship at the time of award. The scholarship aims to assist students who face financial need and/or other educational barriers, including those from regional or remote backgrounds, with sole parent or carer responsibilities, long-term medical conditions or disabilities, Indigenous Australians, refugees, or those who have experienced educational disruption or personal hardship. Eligible students must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents, or hold specific humanitarian visas, and must be enrolled or intending to enroll full-time in a UTS undergraduate, postgraduate coursework, or postgraduate research degree.
