Instituto Trajetórias Scholarship for Brazilian Students

The Hertie School, in partnership with Instituto Trajetórias, offers a guaranteed partial scholarship of at least 25% tuition waiver to Brazilian students admitted to the Master of Public Policy (MPP), Master of International Affairs (MIA), Master of Data Science for Public Policy (MDS), or Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) programs. This partnership program is specifically designed for Brazilian students who are funding their studies with support from Instituto Trajetórias, a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting Brazilian talents with leading universities abroad and promoting talent mobility. Instituto Trajetórias provides financial support through two main mechanisms: partnerships with local governments in Brazil (including Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Goiás, Espírito Santo, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, and ENAP) offering scholarships to the general public and public servants, and a credit line in partnership with financial institutions to help Brazilian students bridge funding gaps for studying abroad. Students must first submit a standard application to one of the eligible programs before April 1, then indicate their Trajetórias affiliation in the funding application, and separately apply through the Trajetórias official portal which opens in February.
