Scholarship for Brazilian Students in Partnership with Instituto Trajetórias

The Hertie School guarantees at least a 25% partial scholarship upon admission to the Master of Public Policy, the Master of International Affairs, the Master of Data Science for Public Policy or the Executive Master of Public Administration to students funded by Instituto Trajetórias. This partnership programme is for Brazilian students who are funding their studies with the support of Trajetórias. Trajetórias provides financial support to students through two main mechanisms: partnerships with local governments (Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Goiás, Espírito Santo, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, and ENAP) to offer scholarships to the general public and public servants, and a credit line in partnership with financial institutions to help Brazilian students bridge funding gaps for studying abroad. Instituto Trajetórias is a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting Brazilian talents with leading universities abroad, promoting talent mobility, and developing leaders committed to Brazil's sustainable development.

Review process

Students must first submit a standard application to Hertie School before April 1. Upon receiving an admission offer, applicants will be invited to access the Funding Application and must indicate they are applying for Instituto Trajetórias. Students must also apply for the Trajetórias scholarship through their official portal which opens in February. Those offered admission and awarded a Trajetórias scholarship will be considered for the 25% partial Hertie School scholarship.
