About this opportunity
This scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate students studying at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney. Established in 2010 through a generous donation, it supports students with high academic ability who may be facing financial hardship, medical conditions, or are from rural or remote areas. The scholarship is valued at $12,000 per annum and is tenable for the full duration of the student's candidature including combined degrees and an honours year if required. Recipients must be current school leavers who are Australian citizens or permanent residents, have received an unconditional offer of admission into an undergraduate engineering program, and can demonstrate financial hardship, a medical condition, or residence in a rural or remote area. To maintain the scholarship, recipients must remain enrolled in their undergraduate engineering degree and maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester.
