About this opportunity

The Hoover School Bus Travel Grant provides funds to help schools meet the transportation costs of educational field trips to the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum and Herbert Hoover National Historic Site. While the program would like to cover all costs of visits to the Hoover Campus, these funds are intended to subsidize travel costs. The program is funded entirely through contributions from private individuals, corporations, and foundations, and is specifically intended to promote public education about and appreciation for Herbert Hoover. To be eligible to apply, the school must be a public, private, home or charter school that is non-profit and tax-exempt, providing daily education to K-12 grade students. Schools with Title I status or high reduced lunch percentage will be given priority consideration. The grant must be used solely to visit the Herbert Hoover Campus.
