School of Chemistry Completion Scholarship

The School of Chemistry Completion Scholarship is established to support Higher Degree by Research students to complete their research studies in their field of research or research endeavour. The scholarship provides financial support to research students within the School of Chemistry who have a reasonable expectation of submitting their thesis within 6 months. Unless stated otherwise in the Scholarship Offer Letter, the Scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate per annum (pro-rata) for up to 6 months, subject to satisfactory academic performance. The Scholarship may also provide academic tuition fee for international recipients for the same duration as the stipend allowance. The scholarship may be fully funded by the School of Chemistry or co-funded by external research grants, gift accounts or industry funded projects. No separate application is required for this scholarship. Research students within School of Chemistry who meet the eligibility will be automatically considered. The award is granted by nomination of the Head of School in consultation with the relevant research supervisor.
