School of Chemistry Completion Scholarship

The School of Chemistry Completion Scholarship is established to support Higher Degree by Research students in the School of Chemistry at the University of Sydney to complete their research studies. This completion scholarship provides financial assistance to postgraduate research students who are nearing the end of their candidature and have a reasonable expectation of submitting their thesis within 6 months. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) stipend rate per annum (pro-rata) for up to 6 months, subject to satisfactory academic performance. International recipients may also receive academic tuition fee coverage for the same duration. The scholarship may be fully funded by the School of Chemistry or co-funded by external research grants, gift accounts, or industry funded projects. Eligible candidates must be currently enrolled in a Higher Degree by Research course within the School of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, and must not hold another primary scholarship. Master's degree candidates must have completed at least 1.5 EFTSL of candidature, while PhD candidates must have completed at least 3 EFTSL.
