About this opportunity
The School of Education Microscholarship is available to incoming first-year students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Students can earn up to $500 for the academic year by completing tasks that aim to make them a better student. These tasks are designed to promote academic success and engagement.
Some of the tasks that students may complete to earn this scholarship include seeing their academic advisor once a semester, earning a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and registering for at least 15 credits during the Spring semester. Each task has a specific monetary value attached to it.
Eligible students will be contacted via email by the Scholarship Coordinator Michaela Kaiser. This email will include the specific tasks they need to complete and the monetary value attached to each task. The scholarship is awarded by the School of Education within the College of Community Engagement & Professions at UW-Milwaukee.
This performance-based microscholarship encourages students to engage in activities that support their academic success and persistence toward degree completion.
