School of History Postgraduate Travel Grants 2019-20

The School of History at University College Cork invites applications for assistance toward travel and accommodation expenses for postgraduate research. Applications for amounts up to €500 will be considered, with the final amount granted subject to the discretion of the School of History. The scheme is limited to registered research students (M.Phil/Ph.D track/Ph.D). All research trips must be completed by end of August 2020, with itemised original receipts/invoices/electronic bookings submitted by September 3, 2020. Conference participation where the applicant is speaking on their research topic is generally not funded, though exceptional circumstances may be considered. Applicants must provide a 500-word outline of the importance of their research trip and ensure both the student and supervisor have signed the application form.
