School of Mathematics Scholarship 2026/27 (International)

The School of Mathematics at the University of Leeds is offering 1 scholarship for 2026/27 entry to talented budding researchers. This highly competitive scholarship provides full tuition fees together with a tax-free maintenance grant (currently £20,780 for academic session 2025/26) per year for 3.5 years, along with training and support. The scholarship is open to all applicants from any nationality, including UK applicants, and selection is based on academic merit. Applicants can apply through listed projects in Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, or Statistics, or submit their own research proposal. The award aims to support innovators joining the thriving community of leading researchers within the School of Mathematics, where 98% of research is world-leading according to REF 2021.
