School of Nursing and Midwifery Community Engagement/Activist Award

The School of Nursing and Midwifery Community Engagement/Activist Award is offered by University College Cork (UCC) to recognize undergraduate students for their outstanding community engagement. The award acknowledges students who demonstrate active involvement in community outreach programs related to healthcare, advocacy for marginalized populations or underserved communities, and impactful contributions to promoting health equity and social justice. This is a recognition award rather than a monetary scholarship, with recipients receiving a certificate and medal in acknowledgment of their contributions. Current UCC students enrolled in nursing and midwifery programs are eligible to apply or be nominated for this award. The application process accepts both self-nomination and nomination by others.
