School of Nursing and Midwifery Promoting Equality and Diversity Award

This award from University College Cork's School of Nursing and Midwifery recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion within nursing or midwifery practice. Recipients are acknowledged for implementing initiatives to address health disparities, promoting cultural competence, and demonstrating leadership in creating inclusive environments that celebrate diversity among patients and healthcare professionals. The award is open to current UCC students and is granted through a nomination process, which can be either self-nomination or nomination by others. Recipients receive a certificate and medal in recognition of their contributions to promoting equality and diversity in healthcare settings.
