About this opportunity
The School of Psychology International Travel Scholarship is a postgraduate research travel scholarship valued at $6,000 for PhD students in the School of Psychology at the University of Sydney. This scholarship has been established to support Doctor of Philosophy students to conduct research overseas that is designed to contribute to the development of psychological knowledge from a theoretical and/or empirical perspective. The scholarship enables students to travel to another country for a minimum of two weeks to visit one or more international scholars who are conducting research relevant to their PhD project. Applicants may also apply to attend and present at international conferences as part of an approved international visit, though the scholarship cannot be solely used for conference attendance. Preference is given to applicants who are enrolled in the second full-time equivalent year of their PhD. Recipients must provide a brief report to their academic supervisor within four weeks of returning to the University.
