About this opportunity

The School of the Arts at Eastern Illinois University offers grants to undergraduate and graduate students for creative efforts in collaboration. Students from Art, Music, and/or Theatre departments may apply for funding to support projects that foster growth, provide professional preparation, or offer further educational opportunities within the School of the Arts. The grant supports creative outputs that showcase efforts from artistic disciplines including visual, experiential, aural, and/or performance-related projects. Proposals must include a summary of project intentions, expected artistic discoveries, implementation steps with timeline, relevant background and skills, and a detailed budget. Projects that include students from multiple disciplines and/or showcase collaboration will be given preference in the evaluation process. All work must be completed, published, and/or submitted by May 15th, 2026, with a copy of the finished project supplied to the SOA upon completion or publicly displayed, performed, or exhibited.
