The Schools of Business and Economics Indigenous Student Scholarship supports Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies in Business or Economics at The University of Queensland. Established in 2019 through the generosity of Mr and Mrs Edwinsmith and maintained by annual donation, this scholarship aims to assist Indigenous students facing financial hardship while studying in the School of Business or School of Economics. The application requires a personal statement of up to 1000 words addressing the scholarship's personal and professional impact, career aspirations, and leadership or community service experiences. Applicants must also provide documentation of financial need and proof of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander status. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted for an interview.
