Schwertfeger Student Award

The Schwertfeger Student Award is a scholarship opportunity provided by the UWM Foundation through the generous support of donors Ruth and Frederick Schwertfeger. This award is designed to support students pursuing studies in German language and culture at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Eligible students must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, demonstrating strong academic performance. Preference is given to students who have declared German majors, minors, or Business German minors, reflecting the award's commitment to supporting language education and cultural studies. The scholarship is administered through the College of Letters & Science and the German Program at UW-Milwaukee.
