About this opportunity
The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) provides St Andrews with funding for up to four studentships each year via an annual quota to the Schools of Physics and Astronomy and Mathematics and Statistics. Studentships are typically for 3.5 years and cover full home tuition fees and stipend (maintenance) at the UKRI rate for eligible students. The STFC funds research within astronomy and nuclear and particle physics, enables research community access to world-class facilities, and provides leadership in the development of large facilities. The funding includes annual stipend payments and tuition fees at UKRI rates. Limited awards may be available for international applicants who meet the full UKRI eligibility criteria.
