About this opportunity
The Scot A. Elwood Memorial Fund has been established in loving memory of Scot Alexander Elwood who graduated from New Albany High School in 2002 and was killed in a tragic accident during his sophomore year at Cornell University. Scot's family and friends hope to memorialize Scot through these scholarships, by promoting his ideal of combined athletic and academic excellence. The scholarship supports graduating seniors from New Albany High School who have demonstrated excellence in both athletics and academics. Two scholarships of $2,000 each are awarded annually to students pursuing post-secondary education at accredited institutions in the United States.
