About this opportunity
The Scott F. Hirsh Memorial Nursing Scholarship was established at The Pittsburgh Foundation in memory/honor of Scott F. Hirsh to provide two scholarships for high school seniors in the Baldwin, Whitehall, Keystone Oaks, and Brentwood communities who plan to attend a 4-year college or university in a nursing program. This single-year award supports graduating seniors from Baldwin-Whitehall School District, Keystone Oaks School District, and Brentwood Borough School District who demonstrate financial need and academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Recipients must pursue a nursing degree with plans to become a registered nurse (RN) at a 4-year college or university. The scholarship provides up to $1,000 to support students entering the nursing profession.
