About This Opportunity
The Scott Family First in Family Scholarship was established in 2022 and is funded by the Scott family, Margaret, Andy, Rhonda and Julie, who share a passion for higher education as a means to support individual and community aspirations. The main purpose of the Scholarship is to assist students who are the first member of their immediate family to attend university and who, because of financial hardship, may not otherwise be able to undertake a university degree. The scholarship provides $8,000 per annum for up to four years to assist New Zealand citizens and permanent residents who are the first in their family to attend university. Two scholarships are offered every three to four years to support students enrolled in their first undergraduate degree programme at the University of Auckland.
