Scott Ferguson Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2019 by Bird Industrial in memory of Scott Ferguson, this scholarship honors a colleague who passionately devoted his career to improving Indigenous communities throughout Canada. Scott Ferguson, a University of Alberta graduate, demonstrated strong leadership qualities and an ability to connect with Indigenous communities. The scholarship provides financial support to Indigenous students pursuing post-secondary education to further their career development and growth. This award is based on leadership qualities, community involvement, and financial need. The scholarship is available to Indigenous applicants who are currently enrolled full-time in a post-secondary institution or Indigenous students completing Grade 12 by June 30th of the calendar year who are registered to attend a full-time post-secondary education institution.
