Scott Hanlon '86 Scholarship Fund

The Scott Hanlon '86 Scholarship Fund was established in 2019 by Scott J. Hanlon '86 to support full-time undergraduate students at the University at Buffalo. This scholarship is designed for newly admitted freshmen who have been accepted into a major in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Preference is given to first-generation students and students who demonstrate financial need. Domestic students must complete the FAFSA, while international students must submit a financial need statement in the general application. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study, provided students maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and continue in an engineering major.
