Scott L. Treffry Memorial Award

The Scott L. Treffry Memorial Award was established in 1987 to support students enrolled in the Heavy Equipment Technician apprenticeship program at Lakeland College. This award recognizes students who demonstrate a strong desire to achieve and exhibit mechanical ability. Eligibility is based on a combination of factors including a good work ethic demonstrated in both the classroom and workplace, as well as overall performance that combines academic achievement with practical shop skills. The award amount varies depending on available funds.
