About this opportunity
An $8,000 scholarship for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students who engage with one of Sydney Environment Institute's research themes as part of their Honours study. This scholarship was established in 2023 to provide assistance to Indigenous students undertaking an Honours program aligned with the Sydney Environment Institute's research areas. Recipients must engage with one of SEI's research themes: Transitioning Systems, Biocultural Diversities, Climate Disaster and Adaptation, Environmental Justices, or Environmental Imaginaries and Storytelling. Full-time recipients receive $5,000 cash payment plus up to $3,000 for relocation and accommodation support. Part-time recipients receive $2,500 per annum cash payment plus up to $1,500 for relocation and accommodation support over two years.
