Selby E. And Helen (Mead) Thorne Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1997, the Selby E. And Helen (Mead) Thorne Memorial Scholarship is available to a full-time, second year student enrolled in a two-year Agricultural or Environmental Sciences program at Lakeland College's Vermilion campus. The scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic achievement, Alberta residency, and leadership qualities in student affairs and/or extra-curricular college activities. This memorial scholarship honors the legacy of Selby E. and Helen (Mead) Thorne by supporting the next generation of agricultural and environmental sciences professionals.
