Senior Fellowships

BSPP Senior Fellowships are available to established scientists who are already members of the British Society for Plant Pathology. These fellowships support working visits of one to three months duration away from the applicant's normal place of work, or can be used to part-fund longer visits. The fellowships are designed to stimulate and facilitate studies or training that benefit plant pathology. Senior Fellowships support travel, accommodation, and other personal costs directly related to the visit, as well as contributions to consumables and other essential research costs directly related to the applicant's proposed research in the host laboratory. Applicants must have been BSPP members for at least two years, and no member may receive a Senior Fellowship more than once within any five-year period. Applications are reviewed twice annually with decisions communicated within six weeks of the deadline, and funding must be used within 12 months of the award.
