About This Opportunity

The SGI Graduate Student Traffic Safety Research Scholarship assists graduate students whose proposed thesis-based research involves engineering or human factor issues related to traffic safety. The scholarship supports the development of ideas and research that may be applied to the solution of problems in traffic safety in Saskatchewan, while developing expertise and interest in graduate students in the area of road safety. The award is valued at $6,150 with one scholarship available per competition. Students must be registered full-time at the University of Regina with a minimum cumulative GPA of 80% and demonstrate satisfactory progress in their graduate program. Applications are invited from students in engineering, geography, psychology, and social science areas, but are not restricted to these fields.
