About this opportunity
The Shalyn and Al Clark Insurance and Financial Services Endowed Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship offered through the Tarrant County College Foundation. This scholarship supports students currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who intend to pursue an associate degree or certificate of completion in business or insurance-related studies. Recipients must maintain a minimum TCC GPA of 2.75, or have a high school equivalent or passing GED score if they are first-time TCC students. The scholarship requires enrollment in a minimum of 9 credit hours for the period of award. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient achieves a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 and completes at least 9 credit hours in the fall. This is a merit-based award, and determination of financial need is not required for eligibility. The scholarship was established by Shalyn and Al Clark of State Farm Insurance to support students pursuing careers in business and insurance fields.
