Shamsalzoha Rouhani Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship award honors the memory of Shamsalzoha Rouhani, a midwife who dedicated over 40 years to serving the needy in the desolate shores of the Persian Gulf. The scholarship commemorates her lifelong commitment to serving those in need and her personal struggle to pursue higher education while providing for her family. She was the first in her family to receive a college degree. The scholarship is awarded to nursing students at Georgia State University's Perimeter College who demonstrate financial need and a commitment to service in healthcare, particularly those who show dedication to serving humanity through their profession with hope and love guiding their path.
