Shaun Yandt Clinical Excellence Award

This award has been established in memory of a valued member of the Denturist program staff at NAIT. Shaun was a graduate of the NAIT Denturist class of 1981. He spent several years dedicated to his private practice but truly found his calling when he began his teaching career at NAIT in 1993. In his role as Clinical Director, he demonstrated a passion for clinical excellence. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in 2011. The award is available to students enrolled in the third year of the Denturist Technology program at NAIT. It is awarded on the basis of professionalism, recognizable effort and continued improvement in their clinical achievements, critical thinking and effective connection of theory with clinical applications, and a high level of commitment to patient care and well being. Students will be automatically considered for this award. No application is required.
