Shaw Equity Bursary

Established in 2024/25 by Don Shaw, the Shaw Equity Bursary is available to students enrolled full-time in any program at the Vermilion or Lloydminster campus who are from a diverse background, with preference to those from the LGBTQ2+ community when possible. The bursary provides $500 to support students facing financial barriers to education. Awarded based on financial need and satisfactory academic standing. This bursary aims to promote equity and inclusion by supporting students from diverse backgrounds, particularly those identifying as part of the LGBTQ2+ community, pursuing their education at Lakeland College.
