About This Opportunity

The Sheana and Pierre Rollin Postgraduate Masters Scholarship offers at least £8,000 per annum to assist a postgraduate student undertaking a one-year Masters course in the Faculty of Arts at the University of St Andrews. The scholarship has been made possible by a bequest from Mme Rollin, MA (Hons) French & German, 1940, in honour and memory of her late husband, Pierre Rollin. The award is paid towards tuition fees first and is available for one year. This scholarship is available to international (overseas) students studying full-time or part-time daytime programs. Eligible programs include one-year taught Masters programmes (MLitt, MRes, MPP), one-year Masters research programmes (MSt (Res)), and the first year of two-year Masters research programmes with a taught element (MPhil (taught), MFA). The scholarship is not available for doctoral degrees, postgraduate certificates or diplomas, or online programmes. Applicants must be studying within the Faculty of Arts, which includes subjects from Art History, Classics, English, Film Studies, History, International Relations, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Social Anthropology, the University of St Andrews Business School, and the International Education and Lifelong Learning Institute. Awards are made on the basis of academic merit. Successful applicants are encouraged to attend Development-related scholarship events and are required to submit reports throughout the period of scholarship support.
