About this opportunity
The Sheana and Pierre Rollin Postgraduate Masters Scholarship provides one award of at least £5,000 per annum to assist a postgraduate student undertaking a one-year Masters course in the Faculty of Arts at the University of St Andrews. The scholarship has been made possible by a bequest from Mme Rollin, MA (Hons) French & German, 1940, in honour and memory of her late husband, Pierre Rollin. The award is paid towards tuition fees first and is available for one year only. The scholarship is available to UK students (Scotland home and Rest of UK fee status) studying full-time or part-time in various Arts disciplines including Art History, Classics, English, Film Studies, History, International Relations, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Social Anthropology, and the Business School. Eligible programmes include one-year taught Masters programmes (MLitt, MRes, MPP), one-year Masters research programmes (MSt (Res)), and the first year of two-year Masters research programmes with a taught element (MPhil (taught), MFA). The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit and requires applicants to provide academic and personal references along with transcripts.
