Sheila and Robert Challey Institute Scholarship

The Sheila and Robert Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth provides an avenue for students to learn about the foundations of human progress and the policies and solutions that enhance economic opportunity and human flourishing. This scholarship supports students from any discipline who are interested in these ideas. Students must maintain a high school or undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher and have an interest in studying economic opportunity and flourishing for individuals and society. Recipients must pursue a 9-credit Certificate in Private Enterprise, which includes courses on capitalism and socialism, fundamentals of business, and a seminar workshop with presentations by renowned scholars. Students must enroll in the BUSN 491 (1-credit) seminar course in their first semester and continue showing progress toward certificate completion. The scholarship may be received for up to two years, provided students reapply each year and demonstrate progress toward completing the certificate requirements.
