Sheila M McLaggan Scholarship in Human Nutrition

The Sheila M McLaggan Scholarship in Human Nutrition is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement enrolled in the Integrated Dietetic Internship component of the Bachelor of Science Nutrition and Food Sciences (Dietetics Specialization) program at the University of Alberta. The recipient is selected based on academic standing achieved during the previous year of study. Preference is given to students who have not received a major award in the current academic year. This endowed scholarship was established by Sheila McLaggan, a graduate from the Household Economics program at the University of Alberta, to support outstanding students pursuing careers in dietetics and nutrition.
