Sheila Watson BA Prize in Canadian and/or Post-Colonial Literature

The Sheila Watson BA Prize in Canadian and/or Post-Colonial Literature is awarded to a student in any year of a non-honours BA program with superior academic achievement in English courses, provided that the student's academic record is otherwise satisfactory in the year of the award. Undergraduate and convocating students taking six credits in Canadian and/or Post-Colonial Literature will be eligible for consideration. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing. This prize is endowed by Dr. Dianne Bessai and Dr. David Jackel and is administered through the Faculty of Arts at the University of Alberta. Students are automatically considered for this award based on their completed General Application.
