Review process
Applications are reviewed by Simons Foundation staff and an expert review committee. Reviewers assess criteria related to access to research opportunities and potential to engage in, benefit from and leverage the SURFiN experience. Finalists are selected for interviews with potential mentors and PIs. Final mentor-fellow pairings are made based on post-interview feedback.
