About This Opportunity
The Shephard-Phillips Scholarship is intended to enable and encourage a UK student in financial need to pursue a UCL undergraduate degree in Life Sciences. The award provides £18,000 per year for a three year undergraduate programme and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The award can be applied to cover tuition fees or maintenance costs depending on the awardees' preference. If a student on a four year undergraduate programme receives this award, payments will be made pro rata, i.e. they will receive £13,500 for each of their four years of study. One award is available for 2026/27. The criterion for awarding the scholarship is financial need and applicants will need to demonstrate this in their application.
