About this opportunity
The Sheree Frappied Memorial Prize in Literary Studies is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing who has completed either English 305 (Literature and Religion), English 339 (Early Modern Literature and Culture: Studies in Shakespeare), or English 361 (Early Modern Literature and Culture: Studies in American Modern and Postbellum and Early 20th Century). The selection is based on the greatest merit demonstrated in academic writing in the course. This prize will normally rotate annually between the aforementioned courses. The award is funded through endowed funds established by Sheree Frappied's husband, Doug Ginter, and family and friends. Sheree Frappied studied as an undergraduate in the Faculties of Arts and Education and completed her creative-writing MA in 2003.
