Sheriff Grady Judd Scholarship

The Sheriff Grady Judd Scholarship is available to Polk County residents who attended high school in Polk County and who are currently enrolled in a Criminal Justice Program at Polk State College. The recipient must maintain a GPA of 2.75 or greater. Upon completion of their degree, the recipient must agree to write a letter to Sheriff Grady Judd explaining the benefits of this scholarship. Applicants must complete a 500 word essay prior to receiving this scholarship evidencing seriousness of purpose and an understanding of the importance of a college-educated Law Enforcement Officer. This scholarship will pay for tuition and books.
