Sherri VanDeBoe Future In Education Scholarship

The Sherri VanDeBoe Future In Education Scholarship honors Sherri Lynn VanDeBoe, a beloved elementary school teacher in Tampa, Florida who taught in Hillsborough County for 24 years. This scholarship recognizes her legacy of service and dedication to education. The scholarship provides financial assistance to University of South Florida undergraduate students who have been accepted into the USF College of Education and are pursuing careers in K-12 education. Recipients are selected through a blind review process by a panel of outside judges. The scholarship supports students who demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 GPA and commitment to becoming educators. Previous recipients have gone on to work with underserved youth, English language learners, and special education students, embodying the spirit of service that Sherri VanDeBoe represents.
