About This Opportunity

The Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation at the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR), ANU College of Health and Medicine offers a full PhD scholarship supporting research in RNA biology. The scholarship is designed for international students pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree with supervision from a member of the Shine-Dalgarno Centre for RNA Innovation. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support including a base stipend equivalent to the Australian Government Research Training Program stipend, with potential for a competitive top-up supplement of $10,000 per annum. Recipients are awarded funding for the standard duration of their doctoral program (3.5 years with possible 6-month extension) and receive additional benefits including HDR fee remission for international student fees, paid leave entitlements (60 days medical and 60 days parental leave), thesis and travel reimbursements, and dependent child allowances.
