SHINE Dentistry Leadership Award

The SHINE Dentistry Leadership Award is presented to a student with satisfactory academic standing who is convocating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta. The award recognizes demonstrated leadership contributions to the Student Health Initiative for the Needs of Edmonton (SHINE) program. Preference is given to students who served as the Senior Chair of SHINE. This award is provided through annual funds established in memory of Vir K Khanna by family and friends, and is administered through the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. Recipients are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the university's scholarship system.
