SHINE Dentistry Volunteerism Award

The SHINE Dentistry Volunteerism Award is given to a student with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated commitment to the Student Health Initiative for the Needs of Edmonton (SHINE) program. Preference is given to students who have been recognized for their hours of volunteerism at the SHINE Dental Clinic. This award honors the memory of Vir K Khanna and is funded annually by family and friends. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
