About This Opportunity

The SHINe PhD scholarship will support a student engaged in doctoral research into the work health and safety considerations associated with automation and technological innovation in project-based construction work. The successful candidate will work with SHINe members (industry partners) to engage in research that answers key questions about how digital innovation and automation can be integrated into work systems in ways that improve workers' health and safety, what potential new hazards can be introduced by the integration and adoption of these technologies, and how these hazards can be effectively managed to minimise harm. The scholarship provides financial support for 3.5 years of doctoral research in this critical area of construction work health and safety.
