Shirley Kral Study Grant

The Shirley Kral Study Grant is offered annually by the Tjabal Indigenous Higher Education Centre at the Australian National University with the aim of providing encouragement and financial support to mature aged female Indigenous students with the educational expenses associated with studying an undergraduate degree at ANU. The grant provides a one-off payment of $1,000 to assist with educational expenses. This scholarship is specifically designed to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women who are over the age of 21 when they begin their undergraduate studies. The scholarship recognizes the unique challenges faced by mature-aged Indigenous female students and provides targeted financial assistance to help them pursue their educational goals at one of Australia's leading universities.
