Shirley McKenzie Scholarship

The Shirley McKenzie Scholarship is offered annually by Deaf Aotearoa to support deaf people with training and educational opportunities. The scholarship amount varies each year and is awarded to more than one applicant. The primary focus of this scholarship is to support training and education in areas that will contribute to the welfare, education, or well-being of other deaf people in the community. This scholarship represents Deaf Aotearoa's commitment to building capacity within the deaf community and supporting individuals who will give back to their community through their education and professional development.
